Unless the context otherwise indicates, our Privacy Policy applies to all registered or unregistered users of our messaging service or other services as defined in our standard terms and conditions, including visitors to any of our websites.

2.2 Application of Principles
As part of the Services we provide, our commitment to the above principles means that we acknowledge that the phone directory, message content, and the MSISDNs of a User indicating to whom messages have been sent or received belong exclusively to that User and will not be disclosed by us to any third party without the written consent of the User, unless compelled to do so by a court of law.
We also acknowledge that any recipient of any message has the right to know the identity of the sender, and this will be disclosed upon request to the recipient when known to us.
2.3 Personal Data We May Collect and Process
Our users may be required to submit limited personal information when accessing the Services, including a username, email address, and password for the purpose of protecting user accounts against unauthorized access. Additionally, messages, files, or other data contained within the Services may include the personal information of third parties.
We may automatically record certain information about the use of our Services such as account activity (e.g., usage, logins, actions performed), data displayed or clicked on (e.g., GUI elements, links), and other log information (e.g., browser type, IP address, date and time of access).
We may use this information to provide authorized persons with usage reports and internally to offer the best possible service to our clients and users, such as improving software user interfaces and maintaining a consistent, reliable, and secure user experience.
We may also detect and record a User’s location and IP address in order to identify the user’s geographic region or time zone to route traffic to geographically based servers or to manage time-sensitive tasks such as sending notifications.

When, for the purpose of providing you with the Services, any DevCodeSMS Service acts as an Application Programming Interface (“API”) to specify how different software systems should interact with one another, or when any DevCodeSMS Service interacts with other APIs, including third-party APIs, we may transmit and retrieve data, including personal information, between the different software systems and third parties interacting through these APIs.
When we use third-party service providers to help us provide the Services, including for retrieving or delivering information, records, notifications, or other messages to you or any user, or to host or provide any component of our Services, we require these third parties to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information we provide to them for these purposes. Some of these third parties may be located outside your country, and you consent to your personal data and that of any concerned persons you provide to us being transferred cross-border so that we may provide the Services. In this regard, we only engage reputable third-party service providers with security and privacy policies and procedures offering at least the same level of protection as ours. You warrant that you have all necessary authorizations to give us the above consent.

If DevCodeSMS merges with or is acquired by any other company, you acknowledge that your personal information may fall under the control of another entity.
If you terminate your relationship with DevCodeSMS, portions of your personal information may be retained in backups and archives for as long as reasonably necessary to help us comply with our legal compliance obligations.
